User-friendly Internet based Information Knowledge Exchange Network (IKAN)

This Network is not based on technology but rather the commitment to the methods of data exchange to assist in local "Community Outreach" projects. IKAN relies upon the capability of environmental networks to moderate and then outline the exact format in which knowledge based information will be exchanged. Responsibility for data quality will be categorically determined and documented by each network which will be accountable for managing the information origin on the network that can administer this data upon authorized request. IKAN will work within the QUAMANCEEC network by transferring data from the learning platform to the WEB, allowing for more effective local, regional, and global interaction. The Development Gateway-and Country Gateways-measure of success will be the extent to which they help connect existing Internet portals and networks and bring together more resources for government, civil society, and donor agency ICT initiatives.
